Yashrut’s current students, alumni and rabbinic ordainees can be found all over the world exhibiting excellence in leading Torah institutions and providing voices of insight and inspiration. Whether in professional or volunteer roles, they embody and share the values of Yashrut as founders of organizations, creators of cutting-edge educational initiatives and advocates for bringing moral integrity and Torah to their service of the Jewish people and humanity.

Yashrut ordainees serve in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO’s, Roshei Yeshiva, and Senior Educators, at dozens of Jewish organizations including, but not limited to:

  • Jewish Learning Collaborative
  • Mechon Hadar
  • Shalom Hartman Institute, North America
  • Or HaLev
  • Drisha
  • Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Boston Jewish Federation

 

Most participants in Yashrut’s Classic Talmud Program and Semikhah Initiative are also employed and/or studying in various academic and professional training programs. In recent years, Yashrut’s enrollment has included students in a wide variety of rabbinic ordination programs, including but not limited to: Hebrew College, HUC, JTS, Maharat, and RRC.

The Yashrut student community includes Jewish educators, mental health professionals, instructors of higher education, community organizers, corporate executives, researchers and doctoral students, and more. Examples include:
